Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi (D)
Welcome to Vietnam, on arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, our tour guide will greet and transfer you by private car to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy walking tour in the Old Quarter. Tonight, you will enjoy welcomed dinner at local restaurant with authentic Vietnamese cuisines. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi (B)
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy morning tour to Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilt and One Pillar Pagoda, then visit Temple of Literature. Next is Vietnam National Museum of Ethnology, the attractive collection of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam. In the afternoon, make your way to Hoan Kiem Lake for Ngoc Son Temple and Dong Xuan Market and in the evening, you will be entertained by Water Puppet Performance and Vietnamese traditional music at Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre. Day 3: Hanoi - Hoabinh - Maichau (B)
After breakfast at hotel, the morning drive to Hoa Binh allows you to visit Muong and Dao villages located in evergreen valley then continue to Mai Chau, the home of Thai minority. In the afternoon, visit the Chief of Thai Community to learn the history, tradition, festivals.... Tonight, the special treat is traditional dance by ethnic artists. Overnight in Mai Chau.

Day 4: Maichau - Hanoi - Overnight train to Sapa (B)

Breakfast at Thai house, visit other villages in the town and local market then drive back to Hanoi. The balance of the day is at leisure until departure to Hanoi Train Station for Sapa overnight train. Stay overnight on train.

Day 5: Sapa Arrival and Trekking (B)

At 6 am, disembark Lao Cai Train Station then drive up for 1 hour to Sapa, the home of six different hill tribes. Do pre-check in procedure and enjoy "Pho" the typical breakfast for Vietnamese People. The morning walk to Sapa Market where you can find many local ethnic minority's art and craft items and the Black Hmong village of Cat Cat. Next is the Red Dao Village of Taphin, one of dominant hilly tribe in Sapa. In the afternoon, trek along natural stream for village of Lao Chai where 30 Black Hmong families living together. Continue to Ta Van Village, the home of Zay minority. After 3 hours trekking through beautiful scenery, drive back to your hotel. Tonight is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 6: Sapa - Bacha market - Overnight on Train to Hanoi (B)

After breakfast at your hotel, check out and enjoy drive on mountain road to Bac Ha Market, the biggest mountainous market where 10 different tribes are selling their home-made products. Lunch at local restaurant then visit Mong Royal Palace built by French in 1923 and drive back to Lao Cai Train Station for overnight train to Hanoi. On the way, stop at border gate between Vietnam and China. Check in and spend a night on train.

Day 7: Hanoi - Halong (B, L, D)
Today, Upon Arrival enjoy "Pho" the typical breakfast for Vietnamese people. Leaving Hanoi by road for Halong Bay, the world natural heritage site. Drive though the rural area with scenic view of rice paddy field in the Red River Delta. You may be lucky enough to see cows or pigs on motor bike or Vietnamese kids ridding on water buffalo flying kites. On the way enjoy fresh coffee at Vietnam Handicraft Center, check in Vietnamese Wooden Junk. Star journey along the spectacular limestone islands, floating villages while having sea food lunch then disembark to visit 'Sung Sot' or "Surprising Cave", one of the most beautiful grottos of the Bay. Next stop is Titop Island where you could swim in crystal water or climb up to the top for panoramic view. In the evening, you will be delighted by candle light dinner on board with sea food. Overnight on board in Halong Bay.

Day 8: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Danang - Hoian (B, L)
A breakfast will be served in the restaurant with the combination of western style and local dishes. Experience the Bay up close and personal with a leisure sampan tour to "Hang Luon" or "Lagoon Cave" which allows you to see flora and fauna system of Catba National Park, then continue to Halong City. Disembak and enjoy seafood lunch at local restaurant. On the way, stop at Dong Trieu Ceramic Village and continue to Hanoi International airport for short flight (1 hour) to Da Nang then transfer to Hoian. Overnight in Hoian hotel.

Day 9: Hoian (B)
After your breakfast, enjoy a short bike to the Ancient Town of Hoian and a walking tour to Japanese Covered Bridge, Phung Hung Ancient House, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall and Chua Ong Pagoda. In the afternoon, enjoy peaceful boat ride along the Thu Bon River to Thanh Ha Ceramic Village then the balance of the day is relaxation on Cua Dai Beach. Overnight at hotel in Hoian.

Day 10: Hoian - Myson (B)

After your breakfast, go to My Son, the imperial city of the Champa Empire. My Son Sancturary is a complex of more than 70 temples and towers which were built to worship the gods who protect the king and the Kingdom of Champa. UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site in1999. In the afternoon, go back to Hoian, free at leisure for shopping in the Hoian' center. Overnight at hotel in Hoian.

Day 11: Hoian - Hue (B, D)

After your breakfast, leave Hoian for the city of Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. On the way, visit Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, the Cham Museum in Danang and drive over the 'Pass of Ocean and Clouds'. Upon arrival, tour the major attractions in Hue including The Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945, the Hue Royal Fine Arts Museum and the King Minh Mang Tomb. Tonight, the special treat is dinner at Vuon Y Thao Restaurant for royal cuisines. A superb 3-course meal will be served by royal style. Overnight at hotel in Hue .

Day 12: Hue - Hochiminh City (B, D)
Breakfast at the hotel then transfer to Danang Airport and take a short flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, followed by an oriental visit to the former Presidential Palace, the War Remnants Museum, the Colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. The afternoon tour leads you to China Town where you will visit Thien Hau Temple and Quan Am Pagoda. Experience true southern hospitality this eveningĀ  at local restaurant with farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 13: Hochiminh City Departure (B)
Today, you will have free day for your own activities in Ho Chi Minh City. Your private car and guide will transfer you to Tan Son Nhat Airport for international flights or a domestic extension.
