Tour Itinerary
Today our tour guide will greet you at the hotel then go to the Perfume Pagoda, the Buddhism holyland which is located 70 km from Hanoi. The pagoda is a complex of shrines, temples and pagodas on the limestone rocks of Huong Son Mountain. Upon arrival, enjoy sampan tour to the first temple named Den Trinh or the Introduction Temple. With Vietnamese people, they all visit this temple before going futher to the Perfume Pagoda. They have to introduce themseft, the date of visiting and wishes to the gods of the Mountain and ask them for the permission to visit the next temples and pagodas. We continue the sampan tour along the Yen River and walk up to the Thien Tru Pagoda where you will learn about the history of Buddhism and the Pagoda. In the afternoon, enjoy lunch then walk straight up to the top for Perfume Pagoda which is located inside the Huong Tich Cave then walk down on the same way back to the wharf for leisure sampan to the car and drive back to Hanoi.
