In Vietnam, cars from S. Korea (Hyundai, Kia, Daewoo), Japan (Toyota, Honda, Mazda), the US (Ford, GM-Chevrolet), Germany (BMW, Mercedes, Posche…)… are filling main cities.
You can find almost all types of cars from small Kia Morning, medium Toyota Corolla Altis, Honda Civic to luxury BMW 7 series, Mercedes S classes in Hanoi or Saigon
Most popular vehicles for rent in Vietnam are: 4 seat Toyota Vios (or Toyota Altis, Ford Laser), 7 seat Toyota Innova (or Ford Everest), 16 seat Mercedes Sprinter (or Ford Transit), 24 seat Hyundai County, 45 seat Hyundai Aero Space.
Normally, 4 seat car is good for 1 or 2 guests, 7 seat van is for 3 to 4 guests, 16 seat van is for 5 ~ 8 guests, 24 seat mini bus is for 9 to 15 guests and 45 seat bus is for 16 ~ 30 guests. With these arrangements, passengers are more comfortable with more space on car. And, price is not a problem as it is not much different between 4 & 7 or 7 & 16 seat...
It is very necessary to be sure vehicles are maintained in good condition regardless whether they are new or used. Cars for rent should be under 6 years with all functions (air-con, seat belts…) running well. |
