Tour Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi ( D )
the_Temple_of_Literature.jpgOn arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, our guide will greet you and transfer by private car through the city to your hotel. In the evening you will enjoy Vietnamese welcome dinner at local restaurant, Overnight at hotel in Hanoi hotel

Day 2: Hanoi ( B )
hoan_kiem_lake.jpgAfter breakfast at your hotel, you will start city tour from Ho Chi Minh Complex with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential palace, Ho Chi Minh house on stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, then you will visit Temple of Literature and Vietnam National Museum of Ethnology. In the afternoon you will take a walking tour around The Old Quarter and enjoy Water Puppet Performance, an unique art shown only in Vietnam. Overnight at Hotel in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi - Hoabinh - Maichau ( B, L, D )
Mai_Chau_in_Spring.jpgBreakfast at your hotel and we will leave for the Northwest province of Hoa Binh for tribal villages of Muong and Dao. After driving 2 hours we will be arrival Muong village which is located in evergreen valley. Walking in the village and visiting one of typical house on stilt is a good chance to understand culture, history, tradition, festival and life style of Muong people afterward we move to Dao village nearby. We continue to Mai Chau, the home of Thai minority. Lunch will be served to you in Thai tribe traditional house on stilt. After lunch we will have a walking tour to private house village, Chief who will commentary about Thai tribe topics. In the evening you will enjoy dinner and special folk dance. Overnight in Mai Chau.

Day 4: Maichau - Hanoi - Overnight train to Sapa ( B )

Breakfast at Thai house and take a short walk to the other village nearby then drive back to Hanoi. You will have time to visit dong Xuan market and history museum before transferring to Hanoi train station for Sapa Departure. Overnight on train.

Day 5: Sapa Arrival and Trekking ( B )
Terraced_fields.jpgAt 6 am as arrival our local tour guide in Sapa will greet you at the main entrance of Laocai train station then drive up for 1 hour to Sapa, the home of six different hill-tribes. We will do pre-check in procedure the go out for Vietnamese typical breakfast. After breakfast we will take a walk to Sapa central Market where you can find all local ethnic minority, art and craft items then walk down to valley for Black Hmong village. After Black Hmong village we will drive to visit Red Dao, one of dominant hilly tribe in Sapa. The Red Dao identified by red turban on their head usually live on mountain side over 1000m high above sea level. We will go back to Sapa Center for your own lunch. In the afternoon we will drive to Ta Van valley to trek along natural stream and visit Lao Chai where 30 Black Hmong families living together and preserving their culture. After Lao Chai we continue to Ta van village, the home of Zay minority. You will visit specially-built elementary school for hilly kids during trekking trip. After 3 hours trekking through beautiful scenery you will be picked up and driven back to Sapa center. In the evening you are free to have your own activities. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 6: Sapa - Bacha market - Overnight on train ( B )
sapa_landscape.jpgAfter breakfast at your hotel we will check out and drive 3 hours on mountain road to Bac Ha Market, the biggest mountainous market where 10 different tribes are selling their home-made products. They get up early, dress up and carry goods on their back. There are two sections in Bac Ha Market. One is daily-used product and the other is animal where they are selling livestock. After visiting market you will drive back to Lao Cai train station. On the way we will take a quick stop at border gate between Vietnam and China. Overnight on train.

Day 7: Hanoi - Halong Bay ( B, L, D )

well_equipped_cabin.jpgToday you will arrive Hanoi early in the morning around 6 am then enjoy “Pho"‚the typical breakfast for Vietnamese people. Leaving Hanoi by road for Halong Bay, the world natural heritage site, you will drive though the rural area with scenic view of rice paddy field in the Red River Delta. You may see Vietnamese kids ridding on water buffalo or Vietnamese people carrying pigs and cows on motorbike. After 3 hours driving, you will be arrived Ha Long city then board wonderful classic wooden cruise. Having sea food lunch while cruising among hundreds of islets to discover the legend of Halong Bay, you will disembark to visit 'Sung Sot' or “Surprising Cave, one of the most imposing grottos of the Bay. After the cave visit, it is time for swimming in the bay and sunset from the top of island. In the evening you will enjoy sea food dinner. Overnight on board in Ha long bay.

Day 8: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Danang - Hoian ( B, L )
A breakfast will be served in the restaurant before taking sampan to ‚Hang Luon‚or ‚“Lagoon Cave‚ then back to cruise. Today, you will see different part of the bay then enjoy the last meal before arriving back at cruise pier at 12.00 for disembarkation. In the afternoon you will go back to Hanoi for short flight (1 hour) to Da Nang then transfer to Hoi An.  Overnight at Hotel in Hoi An,

Day 9: Hoian ( B, L )

Lunch at local restaurant with traditional food will be served to you by special style. In the afternoon, you will take the whole day relaxation in Cua Dai Beach or self-discover Hoi An where you can find the best Vietnamese silk products and art-craft galleries. In the evening, you will be free .Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

Day 10: Hoian - Myson ( B )
My_Son_vestige.jpgToday we will drive 1 hour to My Son ruin, the religious center of ancient kingdom of Champa. It was a complex of constructions, including different temple-towers and Stella in various architectural styles which reflects the powerful kingdom in 4th century. Going back to Hoi an in the afternoon you are free to enjoy beach activities or you may want to shop high quality silk and painting. Overnight in Hoi An hotel.

Day 11: Hoian - Hue ( B, L )

After your breakfast, we will leave Hoi An for the city of Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. In Da Nang visit the Cham Museum, before climbing over the 'Pass of Ocean and Clouds'. After having lunch in one of Hue's beautiful garden houses, we will tour the major attractions in Hue for instance The Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument, depart to the Hue Royal Fine Arts Museum and the King Minh Mang tomb transfer to hotel. In the evening enjoy free time . Overnight at hotel in Hue

Hue - Hochiminh City ( B, D )
Depart for Hue Airport after breakfast for the short flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by the locals. Take an orientation tour of the city to the former Presidential Palace, the War Remnants Museum, the colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office then lunch at local restaurant. After having lunch by your own, you will visit Cho Lon Quarter or “Big Market area where major trading activities take place. In the evening, you will enjoy Vietnamese dinner with southern taste at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 13: Hochiminh City Departure ( B )
Today, you will have free day for your own activities in Ho Chi Minh City. Your private car and guide will take you to Tan Son Nhat Airport for international flights or a domestic extension.
