Day 1: Hanoi (D)Welcome to Vietnam, on arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, our tour guide will greet and transfer you by private car to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy walking tour in the Old Quarter. In the evening, be our guest at local restaurant for welcome dinner with authentic Vietnamese cuisines. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi. Day 2: Hanoi - Lao Cai (B) After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy morning tour to Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh' s House on Stilt and One Pillar Pagoda, then visit Temple of Literature. Next is Vietnam National Museum of Ethnology, the unique collection of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam. In the afternoon, make your way to Hoan Kiem Lake for Ngoc Son Temple and Dong Xuan Market and in the evening, you will be entertained by Water Puppet Show and Vietnamese traditional music at Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre. Afterward, transfer to Hanoi Train Station for overnight train to Sapa. Overnight on train. Day 3: Lao Cai - Sapa (B) At 6 am, Upon arrival in Lao Cai Train Station, drive up to Sapa which is the home of six different hill tribes. Do pre-check in and enjoy "Pho" the typical breakfast for Vietnamese People. Take a walk to Sapa central Market where you can find all local ethnic minority's arts and crafts. Continue to The Black Hmong Village of Cat Cat. Next is the Red Dao Village of Taphin which is located in 20 Km away. In the afternoon, trek along natural stream to the village of Lao Chai where 30 Black Hmong families living together. Continue to Ta Van Village, the home of Zay minority. After 3 hours trekking through beautiful valley, drive back to Sapa center. Tonight is free at leisure. Overnight in Sapa Day 4: Sapa (B) Today, the morning drive to Giang Ta Chai area where the evergreen mountains dominate the landscape. Trek to Red Dao Village which is located on the other side of the mountain. Upon arrival, visit one of local families and hear stories about their life, tradition and how and when they immigrated in Vietnam from China , then drive back along the natural stream and take photo stop to capture mount of Fansipan, the highest mountain in Indochina. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy spa and other facility in Hotel. Overnight in Sapa Day 5: Sapa - Lao Cai - Bac Ha Market - Hanoi (B) After having breakfast, we take a journey to Bac Ha Market, one of the most beautiful market in Vietnam. There will be 3 hours driving in the mountainous area with fresh atmosphere and splendid view. Bac Ha market is the largest market in the Northwest where 10 ethnic minorities people gather to buy and sell home-made products or livestocks. they also get together at market to eat and drink or just simply chat with friend about daily work and family. We may choose some homemade handicrafts and clothes, and take a lot of colorful pictures of the Flower H'mong people here. After having lunch on your own in Bac Ha, we will have 2 hours trek to Ban Pho Village, home of Flower H'mong people. In the late afternoon, transfer to Lao Cai Train Station for night train to Hanoi. Overnight on train. Day 6: Hanoi (B, D) Arrival at Hanoi Train Station in the early morning. Drive to your hotel then enjoy the leisure morning tour in Hanoi. We will join Tai Chi with local people at Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy massage and sauna at hotel by your own. In the afternoon, go to the Old Quarter for shopping. Starting at Hang Gai Market for Silk products and move to Hang Bong street for Contemporary Art Gallery. In the everning, enjoy farewell dinner at Vietnamese boutique restaurant with Vietnamese dishes. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
