Da Nang International Fireworks Competition 2010 ended Print E-mail
fireworkThe International Fireworks Competition 2010 was held in Da Nang from March 27 to March 28 with many interesting activities. Under the theme the “Legend of Han River” with the participation of teams from the US, Japan, France, Portugal and the host Da Nang, the compettion attracted ten thousands of visitors despite of hard rain.

This year, the first prize went to the French team. The USA team won the second prize while the Japanese and Turkey teams shared the consolation prize with the host team Vietnam.

There are abundant domestic and abroad tours available for visitors on the occasion of national holidays, say operators in Ho Chi Minh City. Normally, all of the tours were fully registered two weeks before the holidays in previous years.

Vietnam Heritage Travel  says that on the occasion of the Unification Day (April 30) and May Day, it targets to achieve a growth of 24 percent in number of tourists; however, it has reached over 20 percent so far.
