Day 1: Siem Reap arrival

Welcome to Siem Reap!

Day 2: Siem Reap - Angkor temples – Sunset gondola boat

The whole day, you will journey for sightseeing around the Angkor Archaeological Park which stretches over some 400 square kilometres, including forested area. The park contains the magnificent remains of several capitals of the great Khmer Empire of the 9th to the 15th centuries.

After breakfast, meet your private and driver for touring to World Seventh Wonder -better known as Angkor Wat- which stands as the most important archaeological site in South-East Asia. Angkor wat stretch over some 400 sq. km, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire.
Later on, drive to Ta Prom Temple or Tomb Raider nickname is the perfect ‘lost temple’ in the jungle, where Strangler Figs and Kapok trees have entwined themselves around the ruins.
Lunch at local restaurant (on your own account)
In the afternoon, your exploits will continue as you visit Banteay Kdei (“Citadel of Chambers”), a Buddhist monastery from the late 12th Century, and Sra Srang, also known as the “pool of ablutions”. From here, move onto go to Angkor Thom (the temple) which was built by Angkor’s greatest kings, Jayavarman VII. The major attraction of Angkor Thom is the Bayon, whose exact function and symbolism is still unknown until now.
Followed by a stop Baphoun, which is one of the most spectacular of Angkor’s temples in its heyday; to Terrace of the Elephants that was used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall; Terrace of the Leper King.
Finish your amazing day with a leisurely gondola ride through the moats of Angkor Thom to see the vast ruins of the Khmer Empire at its peak. From there, you’ll enjoy the amazing sunset from the top of the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup and contemplate the horizon as the sun goes down.

Day 3: Siem Reap – Rural experience by ox cart - Tonle Sap Lake boat

Free until meet your guide and driver again to visit the city central. Stop at one of the city’s lively open markets, Psar Chass, called the “Old Market”, where you can discover more about the local life!
Walk along the river bank and witness the colonial buildings remain of this charming city.

This afternoon, drive to a small village, where you walk through this lovely village to see rural Khmer life. Experience an ox cart ride along the countryside paths before a cruise on Tonle Sap Lake to see floating villages and get a taste of life ruled by monsoonal rains and water-based agriculture. Being the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh, the lake was classified as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1997. Stay until sunset followed by a transfer back to your hotel.

Day 4: Siem Reap - Fly to Sihanouk Ville - Speedboat to Koh Rong island

After breakfast, your local guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to Siem Reap airport for an internal flight to the southern coastal city of Sihanoukville, popular for its natural beauty and largely untouched beaches.
Upon arrival, your driver will pick up and transfer to Sihanouk Ville Harbor, take a 40-minute ferry ride to Koh Rong, which offers pristine white-sand beaches. It is still very much an unspoiled paradise, with 5 tiny islands in the area, 3 of which are uninhabited.

After checking into your resort, spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Relax on the white sandy beaches, swim in the beautiful, still, and turquoise waters.

Day 5: Koh Rong island - Free

Enjoy your free time in the island. You are free to sunbath, swim at the beach.

Suggested other activities can be easily booked on spot: biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, blob jump, and mountain biking.

Day 6: Koh Rong island - Free

Day 7: Koh Rong island - Sihanoukville – Drive to Phnom Penh

After breakfast and check out of your resort, take a morning speed boat back to Sihanoukville where your private driver and guide is waiting for you to transfer you to Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia.

Arrive Phnom Penh and check into your hotel. Then head out for a brief city by cyclo to the main points of the capital: passing the market, busy streets to soak up the real vibe of the city, stunning colonial buildings and the modern facets of the capital, Independent Monument, a remark to memorialize Cambodia's independence from France in 1953.

Phnom Penh is the vibrant bustling capital of Cambodia. Situated at the confluence of three rivers, the mighty Mekong, the Bassac, and the great Tonle Sap, what was once considered the ‘Gem’ of Indochina. The capital city still maintains considerable charm with plenty to see. It exudes a sort of provincial charm and tranquillity with French colonial mansions and tree-lined boulevards amidst monumental Angkorian architecture.

Day 8: Phnom Penh - Departure

In the morning, enjoy a half day city tour to see most highlights of the capital, stop at Royal Palace, built in 1866 by King Norodom and the Silver Pagoda; named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles and located within the Royal Palace compound. Later on, make your way to Wat Phnom - the most significant of all the temples in the capital and where Lady Penh is dedicated.
Then, a visit to Tuol Sleng Prison Museum to provides a deep insight into the painful bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge.
