Day 1: Ho Chi Minh arrival

Welcome to Vietnam’s financial hub - Ho Chi Minh City (once called Saigon). After all the immigration & customs, you will be greeted by your local guide & driver before enjoy an orientation travel to the hotel in the downtown. Free to balance your day.
In the afternoon, you will take a brief city tour to leisure stroll around French quarter with Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office, Opera house, Ben Thanh market before back to the hotel.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh - Cu Chi Tunnels - City tour

At 7:30AM, head out by car to discover the incredible network of underground tunnels at Cu Chi tunnels. Along the way, witness the frantic city scenery transitions into a more peaceful rural setting. See the rice paddy farms, quaint roadside vendors, and increasingly lush gardens. Once you arrive, begin with a tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels and get explained the Viet Cong’s strategy to victory in the Vietnam War. Used to call tunnels rats and headquarter of VC to attack Saigon during Tet offensive 1968. By visiting this historical site, you will not only look back to the Vietnam War and but also learn more about the world.

Back to the city for extra sightseeing to explore Saigon on a walking tour to the city’s most impressive sites and landmarks including the Independent palace or Reunification Palace-Head quarter of the South Republic of Vietnam during wartime, then move on with War Remnants museum.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong delta (Cai Be) – Can Tho

After your breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide and travel out the bustling city to Ho Chi Minh City to Cai Be, the heart of the Mekong Delta for a highlighted cruise tour on the mighty Mekong River. You embark a traditional wooden boat to start your day journey to witness the waterways life of "Nine Dragon River". The first stop is the coconut candy factory to discover the manufacturing process of the local sweets,, as well as puffed rice – the local equivalent of popcorn. A tasty locally-made Vietnamese lunch will be served in a local house.
In the afternoon, take a stroll into their fruit orchard to see the fresh seasonal fruits on the trees and listen to Vietnamese folk music known as "Don Ca Tai Tu". Later on, return your private boat and quietly relax yourself on the tranquility and lush landscapes when cruising through the narrow canals head to the pier, where your drive is awaiting for your drive to Can Tho, the largest city in the Mekong Delta. Check in your hotel in Can Tho in the late afternoon.
For the rest of the day, you might relax at your hotel or consider a leisurely walk along Ninh Kieu Park or venture across the pedestrian bridge in Can Tho City to immerse yourself in the local life ambiance.

Wake early and leave the hotel at 6:30AM to visit the famous Cai Rang floating market by motorized boat. Visiting the biggest floating market of Vietnam, the market is busy with colorful boats laden with fruit and vegetables. Later on, cruising deeper into the country-side to you observe the local livelihood and grab a chance to taste the fresh tropical fruits from a local vendor.
Upon returning to your hotel, complete the check-out process. Then, embark on a drive back to Chau Doc, a riverfront town bordering Cambodia. Check in your hotel for leisure.

Early morning, your driver will transfer to the pier, where you will you travel by speedboat up the Mekong to Cambodia’s capital: Phnom Penh. The total trip takes about five and a half hours (including visa procedure). Visas are easily obtained at the border Vietnam - Cambodia and cost $34 (including the processing fee).
On arrival to the dock in Phnom Penh, your local guide and driver will welcome you and transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon, feel the first taste of the city with a leisure tuk tuk ride to see most highlights of the capital, stop at Royal Palace, then stroll along the riverside road, later on make your way to Wat Phnom - the most significant of all the temples in the capital and where Lady Penh is dedicated. Followed by a leisure walk to busy streets to soak up the real vibe of the city, both stunning colonial buildings and the modern facets of the capital, passing by Independent Monument, a remark to memorialize Cambodia's independence from France in 1953.
Back to your hotel and balance your day.

Speedboat Chau Doc – Phnom Penh: 7:30am – 13:00 (5.5 hours)

Today, get yourself ready with an emotional tour when learning more about the history of Cambodia, the tragic past and brutal devastation!
We spend the morning visiting the unforgotten Choeung Ek killing field, where thousands of exhumed skulls are on display during Khmer Rouge. The site features burial and mass execution grounds.

Then we drive back to the city to visit Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 Prison), was once the high school, now the memorial site of the S-21 interrogation and detention center of the Khmer Rouge regime. The site chronicles the Cambodian genocide.

Later on, tranfer to Phnom Penh airport for your flight to Siem Reap.
Meet your local guide and driver in Siem Reap for hotel transfer. Free at leisure.

Day 7: Siem Reap - Angkor tour

Rise up early to pick up by your guide and tuk tuk for the most beautiful, haunting and spiritual moment to visit magnificent Angkor Wat at dawn. This special activity is designed also to help you see “the Temple reflex on the water” when it’s much cooler.
Later on come back to the hotel for breakfast and short break. Breakfast box is on request.
Then keep touring to South Gate of Angkor Thom, and go to Angkor Thom (the temple) which was built by Angkor’s greatest kings, Jayavarman VII. The major attraction of Angkor Thom is the Bayon, whose exact function and symbolism is still unknown until now.
Followed by a stop Baphoun, which is one of the most spectacular of Angkor’s temples in its heyday; to Terrace of the Elephants that was used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall; Terrace of the Leper King.
After lunch time, drive to Ta Prom Temple or Tomb Raider nickname is the perfect ‘lost temple’ in the jungle, where Strangler Figs and Kapok trees have entwined themselves around the ruins.
In the later afternoon, you return to the World Seventh Wonder -better known as Angkor Wat- which stands as the most important archaeological site in South-East Asia. Angkor wat stretch over some 400 sq. km, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire.

Day 8: Siem Reap - Tonle Sap lake

Breakfast at the hotel before drive to Great Lake Tonle Sap, Southeast Asia's largest lake.
Home to over 3 million people, Tonle Sap floodplain is renowned for its basin of among the world's most productive freshwater fisheries. The lake more than quadruples in size during monsoon season, flushing the region with water and life.
From the pier, start cruising to view the freshwater exhibition where we can see various kinds of fish in the lake, floating villages & schools, authentic fishing life, Crocodile farms…
Unlike anything else you may have seen, it offers an exceptional insight into how the Khmer society has learned to live among flooded areas.
